This happens to me all the time I choose not to use my land line anymore but continue to pay the provider just in case someone doesn't have my cell numberlike a doctor so I keep paying for it I'm 85 years old and am running out of time and yes patience Now my question is why hasn't the NY Attorney Journal, Letitia James with all her supposed power looked into this phone scam problem I got a call that registered on my tv screen that spelled out Chase Bank when it wasn't and I got scammed because I believed it. My bad of course, but that's not what should be happening. I turn off my answering machine because this happens daily and I see none of our NY leaders ie.Gillibrand, Jefferies nor Schumer gives a rats ass about this serious problem
