Both my husband and I received a call from 866-416-5691 wanting to verify a purchase made with my husband's debit card. Called our local First Financial Bank and verified that this number IS the fraud dept. number for First Financial Bank. The person I originally spoke with was able to transfer me to the fraud dept. to verify the online purchase paid for with my husband's debit card.
I received an automated call today 6/18/2025 at 2:38pm EST from phone number 866-416-5691 with the robot claiming to be with First Financial Bank. They stated my debit card might have been used fraudulently and that I needed to call 866-416-5691 and give them the card number, SS# and bank account number so that they could clear my card of a block. I called my bank and confirmed there was nothing wrong with the card and that this was a scam.
