Woman said she was calling to collect a debt. There was no specific information on the type of debt she was trying to collect or who the creditor was. She left this phone number and asked for a call back so they could try to consolidate / create a pay plan.

Left a message to call Physician's Medical Center (my hospital in McMinnville, Oregon). The person asked for all my information, which unfortunately I provided (name, middle initial, address, date of birth). When I asked what it was for, they said I had a balance owing of $85 dollars, and wanted to know if I wanted to pay it today. I said yes and gave them 8 of the 12 numbers before my brain kicked in and I said that I changed my mind and would wait for the invoice in the mail as the call did not seem right - and that they should already have all my information. The lady said, okay, have a nice evening, and hung up. I logged into my hospital portal and there are no bills owed. I will be watching more closely now after giving them so much information!

I received a text message from HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital stating that I have a statement available. I have not even gone to a hospital, and I do not live in Orland FL. The text will ask you to open the site given to make a payment. The phone number link to the text is 833-691-4300.

I met Angela at TJMAXX last December. She said that she worked at the local T- Mobile & that her husband had been deployed. So we hit it off talking. I hadn't heard from her for a long time. She called ( or someone impersonating her), Monday, April 22nd & left a message saying she got a new job. I listened to the message & called her back. She said the job was selling knives?? I told her I have plenty of knives that I don't use, so I wouldn't be buying anything. She said she gets paid for the demonstration & asked if she could come by. I told her no, because I'm too busy. She asked if we could do a virtual. In trying to help her out, I said yes for Wednesday, April 24 @ 1:00 p. She asked for my email address & she gave me a confirmation # 68403203, & told me to keep it. She said she was going to send a link on Wednesday & I guess to put that in. At 1:11, I got a text saying, "hi i'm sorry for the late response but i had to cancel our appointment today i apologize "(this is exactly how it was written. No capital letters or punctuation). I texted asking, Why? No reply. Then, I remembered seeing information on people using your email address to blackmail you, try to steal your information, & do all kinds of wicked stuff. Then , I called & got a recording. I'm very glad that it didn't go any further with an appointment. I have since blocked 8449743800 & did research on this number. In retrospect, I'm not sure if it was her. It sounded like her BUT I can't be sure. I won't know. I'm being VERY CAUTIOUS & AWARE!!
