On the voice message, first came a garbled few words that was supposed to be my name? Not sure. Then the person with a southern accent said this is Wellcare calling to ask about some prescription. I called Wellcare directly last month after similar calls pretending to be Wellcare. Wellcare itself said they had no message for me. I suspect this is a scam. If it were true, they would speak CLEARLY and say my name CLEARLY. They didn't even do that. I will not call them back.

I received call from regarding my medications. Is this Lxxx Brxxxx?. I said yes. She asked, "Do you have a minute.?" Sure. "We just want to find out how you are doing on your medications. In order for me to go on, I will need to confirm your information. Would you please provide your birthday and address." I said, Well, you called me. You should have that information. "But I have to confirm before we go on." I said, What is the month you have on file? She says " due to HIPA, I cannot give you that information". You are calling me and want me to give you personal info but you can't tell me the month? I told her I won't provide personal info on the phone because of potential scam, send me your questions via mail and I will respond. She left call back# 855-507-0298. This occurred on 8/19/25. I just got another 8/26/26 but it went into voice message, so i answered quickly and immediately hung up.

Called and said he was from WellCare and wanted to speak to me about my prescriptions. Wanted my name, date of birth and zip code.

Posing as Wellcare claiming that they need to reveiw medical information.

Caller says she is calling about medication for Wellnow. She then says to call 1-855-507-0298; which is a scam.

They left a message never leaving their name or the name of the company. Said they need to speak to me about my prescriptions and for me to call them back that they need information. I didn't return the call and did not answer when they called.
