I received a call from this number offering final expense insurance. I asked many questions as did this man. It all seemed to be legitimate. However, I have never received any paperwork which I should have gotten by last Tuesday regarding the policy. No money has exchanged hands and I have been checking my checking account several times as day to see if anything has been pulled out. So far, that has not happened. I tried calling back on Friday and was told that Justin had "a family emergency". The person who answered the phone assured me that the policy paperwork would be here by today or tomorrow of this week. I asked him where they were located to try to get a fix on location. He said they were in EST zone. I called at 4:15 MST which means that if they were in eastern time zone it would be 7:15 p.m. He told me they were available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I saw that as a validation that this was a scam operation. There is a website for American Amicable that I checked previously. However, the site refers an interested party to an agent. There is no phone number or address listed. Perhaps that could be way of following a trail. I have informed my credit union that this is a scam and to flag the amount of the premium that may be hitting my account. Hopefully, I will try again to reach them as I did today. The message is that the call cannot go through at this time, please try again later. Hope this helps.
